Just Alone

Sometimes....
just like any other time....
a day goes by
when your eyes awake from a long night
by the morning sunshine
you find yourself to be "just alone"

even when you have friends around
that laugh and cheer
joke about those times that goes by
recalling the good old times
of how things weren't so quiet and lonely
by the end of the night or day
you take those steps home
walking up those steps
to lay quietly in bed
you realize just how much your alone

hoping and wishing for that dream to come true
to find that light that will be your guide
to the better future that was off in the distant sight
forgetting so hard and you try
to not remember that day things changed just overtime
your just alone you feel
when your eyes shut the night
to wake up the next day to find yourself
just alone
with a lost love on the mind
