I cry, not sure why

by don   Feb 9, 2014

One minute i am fine
the next i am not
a thought
enters my head
tears quickly shed
a very sad feeling
comes over me
the past and its ghosts
just wont leave me be

sadness is such a lnely crime
but i commit it all the time
laying in the darkness
the hurt is all mine
still not sure of my crime

i am a good person
and yet
my life had been pure manipulation
by an unseen hand
frustration, contemplating
ending my days
tried many ways
but the final cut
holds back and stays away
feel sad, just wish a had
a hug

I understand this feeling so well and my heart goes out to you. Dealing with shifting moods is not easy. One minute we are happy the next we cry. It takes an very understanding person to deal with our daily struggle. Excellent write

This is a really good poem you have written. Here it seems like each stanza begins the downfall pf your life and at the end it becomes your lowest point. You have written your emotions well here. I think we all have mood swings indeed. Even one thought can make us sad. The tone here is sad through out and you stay consistant through out and that is really well done. :)
