Distortion

I live through every single day belittling myself
Magnifying every flaw
Every little thing that made you chose her
How I could make myself better
How I could make you change you choose me
When of all the fish in the sea,
You were the only fish I found
Not that there aren't others
It's I can't put myself to find anyone else
She may be prettier
But there are many things I am sure I am proud of
She does not know the moles in your body
Or your natural scent when you've been home all day
She does not know how long it takes for you to take a shower
Or how your head constantly moves you sleep on the train when you're tired from work
She does not know how forgetful you are
Or notice how your eyes light up when you smile
How you laugh uncontrollably over silly things
She does not know your flaws
And how I love every single one of them
She never will

I love this poem. I feel as if we all have this kind of issue when it comes to relationships. I love it~
