Borderlands from Phoenix Clerics

by imani acheampong   Feb 27, 2014

The crucible brought the mercy
From the winds of the scouring ones
And greedy men of the ranks
To renounce the journey of death
5And lay cogent borderlines for nations:
Countries of the Church
Which laid down the fountains of consecrated grounds
Found on the hills of the Phoenix Clerics
Where men dueled with power
10From the titular names of laymen
And the dowagers of wives
For these lands got flaring
And unseemly in the hermitages-
The recusant ones leave the Regency
15To claim the walk of the shadowy Clout
And for the clerics were those men
Having Hour a friend
From the clenching chaplains
So the Church could lay safely in borderlines:
20One drawn by God deep and vivid.
