Always and Forever

Night after night I lay awake in bed
Wondering why I said what I said
When I knew that It would hurt you so
Yet I did it anyway and I let you go

Now you're gone and I am all alone
Waiting for you to call on the telephone
Days, Weeks, Months not a trace
My heart is aching to see your face

I need you to know I love you
And to me you have always been true
Id take back everything I said if I could
If you would love me again, If you would

Always and Forever you and me
Thats the way our life should be
Give me a second chance and you will see
That you and I were always meant to be

    lol ummm yeh, u compare ths with some more recent work and you can really see the growth of my ability. its not a gud poem at all but its gud to look back and see the way i wrote back then huh? lol

    :) Nicely done :) A while back I can so relate to this poem... but no longer since my love life is in a different situation now... but regardless, good writing :) easy to read, nice flow, its like you speak your thoughts into the poem ;) Keep it up Alysse :)
