Cyanide Smile

by Taylor   Mar 11, 2014

I'm so tired my eyes are closing,
I'm so wired my minds exploding,
Then in the blink of an eye I'm seeing satellites go by.

I'd learn to swim but sharks are circling;
And these waters they're awash with spies
All I see are cyanide smiles amongst prying eyes

And they're
Sitting...
Waiting...
Watching my demise...

And you're stone cold, is your heart frozen?
Please just let me walk this path I've chosen
You can say what you like, still one day I'm gonna fly.

All you parasites have my sides splitting,
Why do you feel the need to dogmatise?
I see your cyanide smiles, and your prying eyes.

And so I hear that you're still talking,
I bet you'd steal my shadow if I wasn't walking,
As I look down I see my wings are clipped and tied.

Maybe I'll never fly but I'll keep trying
Because I've got my eyes fixed on the prize
So keep your cyanide smiles and your prying eyes.
