Mental laryngitis

by joseph santacruz   Mar 18, 2014

Inner voices with no names
cheating players in head games
Cuz lately theres been whispers in my attic
voices and noises plenty of static
going crazy is what im fearing
sometimes i wish i was hard of hearing
a painful skip down memory lane
when this engineer was asleep in the caboose on a crazy train
voices skitter like a cockroach
why couldnt they be an inspiratioal coach?
I really try to be nice
bad advice more than twice.
remove these voices I pray to the Lord
rewarded with fingernails across the chalkboard
Bi-poliarity becomes my moods
I starved myself of any brainfoods.
Why cant they voice things seductive and flirty
I can hold my own (touch myself ) while they talk dirty
These racing thoughts that never flee
Chatty Kathys I cant see.
Bad mannered voices blurt out suggestions
whats left aint right if I follow their directions.
Cranium burglar must be caught
please give me the numbers to the lotto jackpot
Many drugs have done me in an attempt tp destroy it
intoxicated voices seem to enjoy it
voices with split personalities
This zeros, one, two, fourcast three
voices never cut me slack
steer me to a needle in a hay stack
Another voice controlling and intelectual
Thank my lucky stars their not homosexual
No vacancy here for unwanted guests
Why did they choose my mind to nest?
Hoping and wishing they would go away
my minds unwelcome stowaways
Asleep relentless voices cease their talking
A dreamy time if I knew sleepwalking
Specialists specialize yet voices fight us
I sometimes wish my mind had laryngitis.
