My Pride

I wish I could nominate it, but for some reason I cant :( But im definitely adding this as my favourite poem! :)

I have danced with the vampire
howled with the wolf
Battled the warrior
Fought in the snow

I love every line!
I like how you used and linked vampire, wolf, warrior and snow, the flow is also great!

I have held the defeated
defended the strong
Argued the right
Corrected the wrong

Love your choice of words in this stanza, it allows the flow to remain!

I have seen the star-gazer
heard his song
with eyes closed tight
Seen a road so long

This is very creative, it allows the reader to picture what it would look like, sound like and visualise, truly an effective technique!

Through grinning gargoyles
and the giggling ghoul
no more lies
I have seen the soul

WOW utterly magnificent!
I have to say that is a marvellous way to end an already amazing piece! So impactful and breathtaking!!
