A Beggar's Prayer

by Chris Swiderski   Mar 26, 2014

I only wish to speak to you,
In my truest, most righteous state of being.
Without fault or fail of guiding my words,
From my heart, to your ever-listening ears.

I wish to entrust and encumber you,
With all of my loyalty and devotion.
Entrenched in your loving energy,
I seek to be one of your sheep;
Your slaves, your everlasting family.

Undiluted, the words I wish to speak,
Are the whole of me.
