An Aphorism To The Elders!

by Bonaventure Onuabuchi   Mar 28, 2014

Men of hoary fraternity.
Sitting together in aloof minds.
Unity rooted in gloating and hostility.
Hoax embraces; sickly faces hid.

Forbid O' children, their aids.
Their labels of advice;
will muddle you through hills,
to face mountains high.

They're hypocrites in divine chamber.
Jasmine of bitterness;
shrewd in falsehood,
Cos truth lies their wrath.

Hark thou to this;
'where I lie'
since truth is thou foe!
Tomorrow's barrenness isn't the mothers' crown;
Let the young virgins chance to their cross!

Wisdom sovereigns grey-hair.
Old age a journey!
Wisdom an adventure!
Embrace this aphorism;
here wisdom lie.
