Jealousy

This growing monster
here inside me
pain,
and hate

I see you,
I see her,
Holding hands,
Kissing,
Your arm around her

The monster keeps growing

She, my best friend
So I want to be happy
For her
for you

I fake a smile,
giggle,
And laugh.

But in my heart,
A monster grows,
From unkempt pain
From spiteful hate,
So I turn away

Because you see my heart
is home,
To the
Green Monster of Jealousy.
