What I wish for you

by AngelEyez89   Apr 7, 2014

There are many words I wish I could say,
And not one of them would do my rage any justice.
There are so many scars I want to inflict on your body,
How cute we would be if we matched.

There are so many wishes and hopes I had for us
And not one of them will ever be real.
So instead I wish and hope now,
All these things just for you.

I wish for you a long life,
With a memory sharp and clear.
I would hate for you to forget a single moment - that you carelessly threw away.

I wish for you a bed with a warm body,
So you can feel how stark your iciness is in comparison.
I wish for you a companion,
Twisted and broken as you.

I hope you find meaning in something other than chasing a high,
And it's forever just out side your grasp.
I hope you close your eyes and find peace in dreams,
Then wake to the disappointment of reality.

I hope you lose that numbness
And feel every. Goddamn. Thing.
I hope you stand proudly at your mirror,
As smile at the monster reflected back.

I hope you find your fairy tale,
And you eat that poisoned apple.
And for all your practiced lies that cut me,
I hope you choke on the empty promises you'll swear
You mean - to her.
