Shallows Amongst Profundity

by Chris Swiderski   Apr 7, 2014

If not but to tickle the ear, then don't waste my time. I search out the enlightened and profound; Those thoughts beyond time.

If not but to dull the senses, make nothing of action; I seek for understanding, not merely satisfaction.

If and only, should I remain lonely, in this striving for self; Take not what I am. My words are my wealth.

Even so, should you cast eye upon what's been writ, admire your own kind; That of an idiot.
