Seemingly Dreaming

by PorcelainMoon   Apr 9, 2014

Repulsive indignation
Divinity weaving discrimination
Unconstitutional incrimination
Perceptive eyes
Stars are city lights in the skies
Lizard lipped lies
Livid with disguise
Continuing repetition
Tremolo picking reptilian
Every day is the same
But I'm to blame

Seemingly dreaming
Steadily sweeping
Towards the stars
In your rusty car
How far...

I know this poem is written in a pretentious manner that's the concept of writing what comes to your head with a technical spin on the wording. Thank

Hmm I did not find it pretentious, unless I didn't fully understand it. Though I like it. I like the part about stars being city lights in the skies. Someone wishes to reach heaven perhaps? I sometimes cannot fully explain what goes on my head but I like this piece.
