Who would have known
that a mere hourglass
was a Silhouette of time
composed of two hemispheres
to distinguish the north
and the south, or rather simple
our future from our past?

I love this description. What should I say... It is just perfection. I absolutely love how you describe an hourglass as the silhouette of time and with two hemispheres. I loved and completely understood how am hourglass distinguishes our future from our past but I did not understand the north and south part. If you were talking about the northern and southern hemispheres (of the earth) I have no clue what you meant. Oh if you were talking about the northern and southern hemispheres of the hourglass... Oh , that makes sense to me now. :-P

Who would have known
that as the grains trickled down
from the upper part
of the hourglass,
the future is shown to us
with one single grain at a time?

Oh my goodness, I have never looked at an hourglass like this. Truthfully, I always saw it as some sort of play thing to make all the grains from upper part to go down and then reverse it. :-P
These lines tell me that life on earth has a limit and as each grain keeps falling down from our period of life (that is shown by the grains on the top) we are nearing our end.

Or that at the center of its body,
the grains are slowly filtered
as our present to later piled up
to become our past?

Or when its last grain
have finally fallen
that our time has been up
to let the ONE decide
whether to flip the hour-sand,
to restart our lives
with our past as our future
and for the future to once again
become our past?

Oh my goodness...this para really took my breath away.Is it not thought provoking.I really loved it when you said should we not let the one decide, to flip the sands of time.It was just beautiful.
Truthfully, who knows our life just might be a series of cycles...a deja vu.
