You’re not here anymore

by Merdy   May 28, 2014

Since you left me I've been falling apart... In reverie I imagine you still here, but you left... And you’re not coming back
You’re not here anymore, and I won't be able to hug your neck, or kiss your cheek,
You had to leave, and I won't be able to lie beside you and stare into your eyes
You’re not living and I won't be able to leave rose petals on the carpet leading to the room...
You’re not gone, you’re in the soft powder fragrance still wafting in your sweaters sleeves,
You’re not gone, you’re in the sounds of Marvin Gaye's mercy Mercy me
You’re not gone, your in my thoughts and dreams

This is such a sad piece. I thought at first it was a lost relationship then I realised it was more than that, a relationship lost due to death and sometimes I wonder how I would cope... I love this - 'your in the soft powder fragrance still wafting in your sweaters sleeves' its so sad but true they will still linger on.

The only him is peddles I think should be petals.

    All the best, Em
