Childhood Indoctrination

by ApostleApostate   Jun 22, 2014

Yes mom yes
Jesus is the best
I dreamt of him once
now let it rest
I've said my prayers yes
I meant every word
if i didn't mom that would be absolutely absurd
Yes mom yes
I've read the good book today
and I certainly didn't read it just to get it out of the way
My intentions are true, just in every way
Yes mom I thought about what He would do and say
Yes mom yes
I remembered the law
I remembered all ten
especially obey you and dad, I'll live longer then
Yes mom yes
your son is only seven
yet you've tried so hard to push him into heaven

Yikes talk about a twist in the end I thought it was funny till I saw that last sentence it's still funny to me since my parents never did that but then again they let me do whatever I wanted with religion also I like the flow and how you were "talking" to your "mom" really nice from the flow to the rhyming 5/5 and no grammar mistakes that I saw
