Broken Branch of a Family Tree

Who am I dear father?
Where do I belong?
Was I your mock of god, dear father?
His bestowed life prolonged
What was your plan for me, Dear father?
Was I to be your son of gaudy sin?
Had my life become a bother, dear father?
To who proclaimed you min?

These questions provoke me, dear father
As I grip your cold, desiccated hands
To my fate you were the lessee, dear father
But I the lion to the lamb
If it concerns you as it does I, Dear father
My vengeance is left with regret and demise
Such can be the same for you, Dear father
Thou your life was my spoken guise

Alas a unintended end-all, dear father
Unlike the mariner, your death was your fate
Arrogance is banal, dear father
Your ending was that of a bastardized strait

My venture ends with desolation, dear father
For I repent my deeds upon thee
My existence dissolved through immolation, dear father
Forever will never be
