Santiago

You proclaimed your love so quickly. I was the love of your life, woman of your dreams, and soul mate, you said.
Then, one day you decided to leave me and take your love away.

Where did your love go?
Where can I find it?
Where do the stars go when they stop shinning?

You ask if I am ok.
I tell you I am fine.
I am not going to tie you to something you don't want.

I am crying from the inside, my soul is torn apart.
I was the only woman you would ever marry you said.
But you left me and took your love away.

Where did your love go?
Where can I find it?
Where do the stars go when they stop shinning?

Full of sorrow and somber emotions flooding throughout this poem.
Love is rough, and heart break is torture.
You put together a strong poem of heartache and yearning for the love you once had.
Nice write, sorry for the loss.
    Keep strong.
