The Colour of Blue

by Saw Lalbwel Htoo   Aug 1, 2014

The warmest day's long
Along the way I choose
Across the rugged road
The road I abuse

Smile has gone
With the summer wind
From blood and the bloody
Coded, could be a king

Days after the days
Nights by the nights
Unknown by myself
I'm sinking into the fight

At those nights
When I sing the Psalm
The Psalm after wars
Would I see the morning sun?

On those days
When the heart dwells in a grave
The grave of very mine
Shall the tomb be grace?

What of my tune
Who'll sing the song alike
The name of victory
Nothing's sure but sigh

Halleluiah, Lord!
Angel'll be singing
Certainly, the song of peace
Where I am lying

The colour of blue
What I heartily long
What I wisely need
But in heaven, ain't found

Our merciful Father
Give it to me
While I am alive
I pray unto You on knees

Abruptly, I feel strong
Become clean as dew
Halleluiah Lord, halleluiah!
That's the colour of blue
