The Chores of Angels

by Vickie Spears   Aug 25, 2014

On the Celestial Eve of God's design
Angel wings quiver with anticipation
To know the task they are assigned
Standing united in Gods Nation
Each receiving their chore- be it mighty or mild
Some assigned to heaven in armor they guard
Some Angels sent into nature wild
Watching Flora and Fona not seeming too hard
The responsibility of man to guide
Angels never rest easy as they stand beside
And many have been sorely tried
Double Blessed Angels have a child at their side
Until a solitary Angel at the last
What is left for me she ask
The soft reply-1 have given you the pets
Your service is hardest- its for the best
Be at the shoulder of mankind
That they give medical care with compassion
Comfort and heal - lastly help them find
The way home in a loving fashion
