PROM

She looks into the mirror and sees what she doesn't like
A "disgusting image" she would say
She killer herself over a contest
Brain pop in a brand new prom dress
Never believed she was beautiful, she was so self conscious.
Crying cause you can see where her self harms at
Bloody arm and a handful of "Dream makers"
They did make her sleep so a literal dream maker.
She took those pills to be as skinny as can be, and she didn't even win prom queen

    I love how well you penned this It is amazing and beautiful despite its heartbreaking quality. So many girls feel and relate to this. SO many girls in todays world know exactly how this feels and the only thing they want is to feel beautiful or know that someone else out there sees that beauty. There is such literary merit to this piece, even with the topic of choice. I love the word choice and the style you chose. I love that you didn't really worry about format which gave it a perfect flow.
