Happy Ending ?

Why do I look at her the way I do
When it seems there is not a chance,
Having Hope is all I carry
Wishing we will share a dance,

Maybe one day it may happen
If I don't freeze up and she walks away,
We might create magic at that time
As long as I can think of the right words to say,

Time and fate play a part in this story
Hope and faith do as well,
As long as I believe in my heart
Then a happy ending I will return to tell
