Love and War

by Eric T Jones   Nov 7, 2014

Total bliss art the sweetest impulse of all open doors.
For it is the universal heartbeat that proves all is fair in love and war.

For in thine eyes, I feel the adrenaline rushing into your footprints and pushing your panic button. Feeling so breathless now and completely helpless against the increase in mine respirations.

I shiver as your next moves art not known, devouring my every hope as my metaphor carries mine cold body back home. The innocent tears of mine incomplete heart as I loose this battle.

Almost home now for this love and war journey hath pushed me into the far away darkness of being alone now. As I close mine eyes my heartbeat flat and grief stricken in mine best

How durst thee continue to smile as mine bleeding heart grinds like the withering sand frolicking it's last and final frolick through the hour glass.

The poison of thou draws me in like a hook sunk deep of the jaw of an unsuspecting fluke. I desire to be free, but empty without thee.
