I Met Her On The Moon Pt 1

by Michael Angelo   Nov 15, 2014

I met her on the moon on my way to planet mars.

I told her I was a monster, she said no your not.

I asked her why she wasn't scared, she then felt my scars.

And told me she sees my pain, and why I traveled far.

I asked her what she was doing here, all alone.

She said I like the moon, its become my new home.

What was your home before this one I asked?

She said that doesn't matter, I'm here now she laughed.

I asked what was funny

She said you love to dwell in the past.

your scars are your memories, some good, most bad, I can tell you left earth, cause your alone, mostly sad.

If death came and touched you, you'd be dead, you'd be glad.

I told her she was right, my biggest scar is my broken heart.

I've loved so many woman on earth, its has torn me apart.

Its gotten to the point, I wanna leave and get very far

I wanted to leave planet earth, till I touched down in mars.

She said I can tell you right now, that wouldn't do you much good.

Run if you want, even run if you should.

At the end of the day, who you have to deal with is you. I tried running too, its how I got to the moon.
