As I pray for ferguson. ...

As my heart fell hearing the word
Millions of us join as one hoping justice will once be done
Yet the feeling of rock bottom hits ur stomach as they announce the judgment that will once make our nation fight as a whole
The fact we have our elders and our youth growing in this society seeing these changes
Yet the have instilled what was instilled into them into us
See this world has become a destruction
What have we grown to be
A line of division from the color of our skin
See what makes you unique is what is tearing us apart
See the young calling each other niggas but didn't your greatgrandma just get beat and abuse for fighting for your voice
But yet that how you repay her
See the elders growing old still believing in the old days the division we once shared by the color of our skin
For they feel it makes us wrong
For they feel we are uneducated and destroyed
For they feel as if we are here to fail
See the way our Laws are yet no one cares about the safety of our kids it's all about is that man in uniform doing as he pledge
But what if he wasn't what if he disobeyed
Yet the belief of our skin clogs your brain to the existence of only pure white is all you can see as if the color added to you makes you filthy
See I sit back and think it's so sad that our kids start off in this world with this division
Having to pick the side will they follow their parents footsteps are be one of their own
Have a mind of the own that judging a person by the outside does not show the true meaning of who they are
The world we live in as the riots and fights begin as we heard the words they said
Man is all I feel as the pain began to feel real
the law yet it is a passion a passion that I choose to learn but yet when it is misused I feel there should be a judge to decide the outcome the outcome of the status of your life
See how can you hurt when your job is to protect yet how can you instill the mental composite to kill yet because the color is different
See the things my ancestors went through for you and me and to see the way our world is turning out to be yet it makes my heart cry for the ones before me for the whips and the pain they went through for you and me and this is how you repay them
Never again will I ever be a nigga for I have a name and I have a purpose
But best believe the verdict is never over because God is the judge and as we all will stand before him
I hope your heart is right
Because a heart of hate is a broken soul belonging to the devil
