Furry friends.

by Abandoned Angel   Dec 4, 2014

The hum of a purr,
drowns out your sorrow,
the touch of fur,
makes you forget your pain.
The stretch of a cat getting comfy,
and the purr gets louder again.

Curled up on your lap,
his eyes promising,
it's not a trap.
But next time that you try to move,
he'll look at you,
like you stole his groove.

Begging for a tickle,
behind the ear.
Oozing affection,
and a love so dear.
A stretch of his leg,
and he touches your nose,
reminding you to keep,
your furry friends close.
