Poisonous

by shadow   Dec 7, 2014

Hands intertwined
Like snakes in a tree
As you inject the poison
Now swirling through me

My head is dizzy
A toxin of love and desire
The touch of your warm skin
Lights my blood on fire

I stand in your fresh ashes
The air shifting slowly around me
I can still hear our music playing
Remember the pressure of your body

Your breath in my ear
Sends shivers down my spine
Like snakes in a tree,
Once again we intertwine...
