Last thing I ever said to her

by Sasha   Dec 10, 2014

Gaze and just daze
At all the beautiful days
That came along our ways
Infinite memories of all
The unbelievable moments
We have had
It was a feeling that
Kept growing and growing
Without our knowing
It kept flowing through us
Showing our young hearts
What is was
Love was its name
and our hearts were to blame
It just happened so fast
I closed my eyes and
You were my past
So I kept them closed
And started to dream
All I did was scream
It was impossible to sleep
Even if I counted a billion sheep
My heart was buried
6 feet deep

Hey great poem, especially the flow of the poem, and yes love is like a stroke of air we can't see it coming, just feel it play with our hair and then live with it's memory! Nice job!

This poem seems to be about love but for some reason it seems that it couldn't be. Yet what I like about the poem is that it said that it was a feeling that kept growing and growing without your knowing, that's how love is. It just grows unexpectedly.

    Welcome to poems and quotes.
