It feels right to write about it

by Sasha   Oct 5, 2015

I want to tell you
I want to yell it out
Let's start like this

If it didn't sound right
We would talk all night
Holding each other tight
Until the sun shot it's light

I had it all
She was my favorite gal
Only one to have my heart

never forget
Diamonds don't break
And fairy tails don't exist

Life still goes on no matter what
you will live and learn
But you will never feel that burn
The one that's only earned

Nothing will ever be the same
It's obvious who's the one to blame
If we touched ice
It would burn into the hottest flame

without her
Happiness was a blur
Imagine a grain of sand
In a world fur

Impossible to find
But wouldn't stop me even if I was blind

Money was nothing
We were everything and more
Not everybody gets this chance

Some people get a petite glance
Of what could've happened if they
Asked the girl of their dreams for a dance

I remember like it was yesterday
Storming out the door to see her one more time
But something told her to look back

So she turned around
Silent no sound

that's when our eyes locked and the world got rocked
Nothing could compare
What things we shared
Life itself wasn't prepared

What was a young boy like me to do
I didn't have a clue and that was her cue

My heart would roar
But she deserved more

I hope she's happy and taken care of
I wanted to only give her nothing but the best
If you couldn't already guess

I loved I learned I lived and never forgot
Her voice
Her touch
Her smile
Her love
The fire still burns for what life would've been
if my world wasn't filled with sin
