Beauty of Sleep (Day 20)

They say you never know what you have
until it's gone.

You will never know
how truly blissful
and amazing sleep is
until you don't fall asleep
for an entire week.

People take slumber for granted.
They never truly recognize
how privileged they are
that they can sleep easily.
They never recognize
how beautiful sleep is.

Sleep is a wondrous thing,
if only I could have it.
