With Eyes Wide Shut (Imagery)

by GB   Jan 8, 2015

With Eyes Wide Shut

Sun of the Fall eclipsed
with those smiles of his,
still, he kept kindling
his lantern in my heart.
With eyes wide shut,
we gave in
sailing to that wonderland,
where petals of the lotus
waiting impatiently;
to hold our joy forever.
Canaries wandering there,
ready to sing melodies
rhymed by verses of adoration.

Tidings given,
time to believe.

Purity of the sky promising
with much of realized dreams,
and days devoid of storms.
Predictions about unbreakable bond
made by corals from the bottom.
We heard whisper of seashells
seep through golden grains
and tales of infatuation
have been relayed.
no more moments left to spare...
hand in hand with eyes wide shut,
he kept kindling his lantern,
as we were sailing...

Such a fluent and magical write. You have magic on your fingertips GB or a calculating mind. One of the two.
