Corpse walk ((personal / writers block))

by Brookie   Mar 16, 2015

I become someone else the second you're here,
Escaping a moment that's suspended in space
You never here me when I whimper and cry
But I've done it every time you're by my side.

Greed twists my judgement from something pure
As love gets tangled in a breath that we share,
Hate has never held such a physical form
But I'd spill my own blood for the things I endure.

Deaths all that's left of who I once was
As a disturbed soul is brought to her tomb,
This corpse will soon forget the pain held close
To her lips as she opens her eyes for one more kiss.
