Gravediggers

by Beautiful Chaos   Apr 10, 2015

Grave digger, soulmate of loss,
Languishing, bones of the past,
Caressing our inevitable end,
With the softness of our crippled hearts,
The truth never hesitates,
It will gut you, as soon as lift you,
If the lips are deceitful enough,
Capital evolution because living is too hard,
But the eyes have it all,
Truth, fear, regret,
And I live in the eyes, heart and spirit,
Where it all screams to be set free,
But we bury it,
And hope the world is as blind as it seems,
So there is nothing to see in the mirror, but the delusions we need,
The demons we feed,
The slow death of everything and everyone, we claim to love...
