Have we ever lived

by Yannick   May 7, 2015

An unquiet silence flows over our uninvited guests
Ambitious music blends with this unbearable sound
Where do we live?

When the trees start whispering the songs of the first men
And the animals start killing their poachers
When did we die?

If words start dancing around a bonfire made of anger
And cooled down in cold bedrooms of lawful couples

Have we ever lived?
