MADNESS

by Shehzad Adil   May 24, 2015

When a man standing on soil
With feeble legs wants to go a mile
Sees glowing stars on sky
Effortlessly wishes to stretch so high
Wishes to pick with his little hand
a few of them like grains of sand
Just like plucking of flowers in the backyard
Doing nothing but asking for a reward
On such an act
everyone will say " yes, yes"
This is madness, This is madness

When a fresh craving of love
All needs of life, above
Whip up in the heart of an old woman
Except howling what she can
Wishes to be beloved of a lad
Makes her sad
Sooner or later she will be mad
On such notion all people say "yes, yes"
This is madness, this is madness
This is all madness

On thinking a lot
This secret is got
Now able to confess
I am mad, yes, yes
