Time, a constant.
Seconds blowing in the winds of yesterday.
Our present memories,
Already begin fading away.

Blend into the background,
Like melting shadows on the wall.
Do you realize that I've been missing?
Do you really even care at all?

Lines blur as the world goes out of focus.
Lost in this endless forest of dead trees,
Planted by the seeds of bitter anguish.
You've got me now down on my knees.

A pound of flesh is not enough
For the sins you have committed on me
Damn you for being my source of pain
Why couldn't you just let things be?

I will never be free of you.
