The man in the mirror

by Sarah Day   Jul 25, 2015

The man in the mirror peers out at the world as if he does not see observing before him-his vision just fine -
another person oh, the reflection is mine.
How can I sit here with my face staring at me
not knowing who that person could be?
The physical features are obviously mine
but who am I really I just can't define.
How I see the person I am is not how I am perceived.
Is it you or is it I , the one who is deceived?
