Beautiful Soul

The incomprehension
for strength combined with illness
made it hard to witness
the fight in her eyes
she was so strong
and now she's gone
maybe in heaven
where she should belong
she passed away
left a portrait in our hearts
memories for the time
we spend alive
such a beautiful soul
always opening her home
opening her heart, in a way
that washed, our troubles away
it seemed she did it all with ease
please, I hope she rest in peace
family and friends was always together
in her home of forever
and for every tear we'll cry
we look at the sky
knowing she is near
to wipe off, our tears
away

This Poem is for my dear cousin, who always opened her home for family and friends, it didn't matter if we were 30 people in a small living-room, there were always room in her heart <3
