Words Unspoken But Heard

by Baby Rainbow   Sep 15, 2015

It was just another day like any other,
and that smile upon her face
was enough to heal over all the pain
that is stuck inside of me.

I never thought I'd find a touch of hope again,
after everything that brought me down
and left me abandoned and deceived.

I was ready for watching the sun go down,
believing my heart was never good enough for this life,
until that momentary glance when I let you
look through to who I am inside -
every single layer of me until you saw beneath my skin.

And you listened with your eyes
to every single word I never said.

This is what real love is all about, the smile that heals even when you didn't want to and when someone knows what you're feeling even when you don't say a word, they see it, they feel it, they just know. I love this....
