I've watched you since early stages of writing, I've heard about all your dreams and passions and watching them come true is soooo exciting for me as a friend to see.

Forget about straighting your hair and the roses but stay there and study.what makes us different, makes us special too. your mom is right, i'd say thr same to my daughter.

Writings like this, coming from deep, deep within, are the ones that make you pause a moment and sigh before cringing.

Judging Comment:

What a touching write this is. At first I thought it
was a love poem but then understood the love of
a mother for her daughter. Each stanza is well
crafted with images one can see and understand.
I especially liked the third and the ending stanza
and it just shows the simple words of a mother
can make a child go further then she could realize.
Love this write and the images...lovely piece of write!
