My Dearest Friends

by Maricris   Sep 22, 2015

I have met friends before
I have met new friends now
Their eyes differ in color
Some are blue, some are brown
But they do mean to me somehow.

They come from places far and wide
Places I've never been
Across the oceans I've never tried
To stretches of sands
And camels I've never seen.

Different languages we speak
But it was never a hindrance
For we know of friendship we seek
One mind, one heart
Likely to tangle in an instance.

Oh, and there was you
Who I came to know
We have lots to talk about
Share some good things we love to do
You became so special
And nothing can change it until there's me and you.
