Are We Breakable?

by Baby Rainbow   Oct 11, 2015

It's like you can taste my silence,
even when you are not there.

You know you have a key to my heart,
and you mean more to me than gold,
but I'm still terrified of so many unknown things.

How do I explain my fear of:
"if only she knew the truth"?
I don't think you would be
understanding enough
for us to remain.

I am terrified because
you seem to know me so well,
and there's so much I don't want to lose,
but I'm afraid that this is not meant to be:

I am terrified that we are breakable.

Love never dies, unless it's destroyed, then it still is in there a tiny little bit.
