STILL LIFE ( on a friends mothers funeral )

Could I get some moments more
Would You call my name !
once more...
Pained I am to see you now,
Motionless in petals clad .

Plumes of smoke ,grimly leave
The pyre engulfs my whole world
Mourns and Tears here abound ,
Why does Silence wail so loud .

Years of love , warmth you shared
Years of togetherness Smiles and Care
Yet today I feel it's been
A moment since I left your womb

Still when at nights I look behind
In Memories ,
You ,I will always Find...
