From the Stars

by Impulse   Dec 6, 2015

Wondering how she came upon,
This Earth shining so bright,
Just like a star and not too long,
She took me by surprise.
Rosy smiles, innocent gaze,
Yet something set apart.
Shrouded like a mystery haze,
She may just steal my heart.
Quiet whispers soft and sweet,
Like music to the soul,
Not knowing how she starts a beat,
That grabs and takes a hold.
Word of caution, take a step,
View big pictures from afar.
Nothing has been written yet,
Take time to reach for stars.
Long roads lay ahead,
We'll tread them with great care.
No matter what is said,
Support is always there.
Riding on a blissful high,
Like back in days of lore,
This dark knight who cannot lie,
Says my soul remembers yours.
