Anno Domini

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 18, 2015

The sun rises
then it will set
there's surprises
we can't forget

Our planet turns
just like before
another yearns
creatures explore

There's stress and strain before each close
what will remain no body knows

Each day passes
like shining suns
burnt out ashes
in everyone's

In the last days
what will remain
when life decays
is no more pain

If we have heart
we learn to love
the sacred art
that rose above

Thorns on the stem
protect flowers
that shall crown him
with great powers

Love always was,
always will be
mainly because
of destiny
