If I Ask

by Jay Colon   Jan 10, 2016

If I ask you

to be my addiction; will you?
get me high
run through my veins
control every part of me

promise to never leave
despite adverse consequences
I have cravings only for you

so if I ask you

to be the disease
that goes around and around
infecting inside of me
with only one cure

YOU; will you?

promise to never leave
despite adverse consequences
I have cravings only for you

so if I tell you

my soul can get enough
that you are the one
us together can resonate as one

I am enough
I can offer enough

will you be my addiction?
will you be my disease?
will you be my girlfriend?

as you promise to never leave

    Hi Jessie

I like the way you have likened this person to a disease going round your body, and actually wanting it - submitting to them completely and the only cure for this 'disease' is more!
True love is giving yourself over completely, like this.
All the best and take care,
    Ben
