Inevitable

by Allie   Mar 23, 2016

The sun is shinning, birds chirping. I hear the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. But I can't see anything. It's so dark and cold in this place. I hear foot steps coming down the hall, I feel my heart race, my eyes start to sting. Nothing can prepare me, for what's about to happen to me. I'm lying on my back preparing myself for the inevitable. You enter the room. My hands gripping the floor. I notice the cracks on the wall, the paint peeling off. I know you can smell the fear coming off of me. I know you can hear my whimpers. You look down at me with this devilish grin, your eyes are black and lifeless. You force yourself on top of me and whisper in my ear " this will only hurt for a second I promise you baby girl". You enter me with such force that I gasp for air, my insides are hurting, I think I felt my heart stop. The world stop spinning. Do you see the sun shinning? Do you hear the wind in the trees, the birds chirping? I don't see anything, I've faded into the darkness. But "this will only hurt for a second". Isn't that what you told me?

Wow! This is intense! How scary knowing what's coming and not being able to stop it or get away from it. Well done! Brenda
