Turning back in time

by Lyn Aribaca   Apr 6, 2016

Turning back in time
Time when I saw you as a stranger
I walked straight on your line
We both looked each other and smile

The time you asked me my name
Butterflies on my stomach are flyin'
The time you said you wanted to send me a call
Before my eyes get ready to fall

I know what was going on between you and me
Though I'm scared what will it be
I'm afraid, like him. You will lose me
One day you will walk away or cheated on me

"You should forget him, because I'm here
you don't have to worry, please don't be afraid
I'll love you more than he did, nothing to fear
I will not break your heart promise to fix it"

I feel like I'm weak, believed in your words
To trust again, to give my heart
I thought its ok, but it getting worst
For the second time, my heart brokes

How could you say you loved me when you're not?
Does men are only playing the girls heart?
Is it true, lies are made to be spoken?
Do promises are really meant to be broken?

If I could turn back in time
Time when I saw you as a stranger
I will walk straight on the line
I shouldn't look back and smile

    Lyn,

A good write but there are a few tweaks that need to be made.

    Take care, Em
