Congratulations, you've discovered something!

Say hello to a much-needed goodbye;
you cannot refute with your back turned away.
Let's skip the hours speaking about intent,
because we always knew what that was.

Cracks effortlessly form after you turn around.
It's easy to see the strain, absolutely impossible for you to contain.
When did the pact we signed drop out of your pocket?
Missing you is difficult because I can still see you behind the glass.

My heart breaks every time you put on that crown;
because you cannot see the leash that leads behind.
There's no time to judge, especially while I am being pulled the other way.
Who knows by now how deep it's dug in while I was waiting for you.

A valuable lesson doesn't necessarily mean things will stop hurting from now on.
I have never been so mad at myself for rejecting the inevitable.
You see, it has this sincere way to kick my ass.
This line is where a weight of reality drags behind my wake.

    The imagery in this is really good. You keep a really nice floe and beat throughout.

    I love this line because it's like every love is a pact that is signed but this ones just been lost.
